The Marketing Arm’s wireless practice delivers mobile messaging services using message master® xsp

The SMS/MMS gateway software enables The Marketing Arm to securely and reliably connect to aggregators via SMPP for message delivery.

Derdack unveils release 3.2 of message master® Enterprise Alert

Derdack is pleased to announce the general availability of a new release of its enterprise notification software – message master® Enterprise Alert. Release 3.2 offers the following new features:

  • 64bit OS support: Support has been added for Text-To-Speech on 64-bit operating systems, e.g. Windows Server 2008 (R2).
  • Additional GSM device support: message master® Enterprise Alert now supports sending and receiving SMS text messages with MultiTech iSMS Modems. This is especially interesting for customers who are not able to provide RS-232 COM or USB port for GSM device connectivity due to data center restrictions. MultiTech iSMS Modems support HTTP over TCP/IP enabling remote locations of GSM devices outside the data center.

Derdack wins a top mobile messaging honour at the Global Messaging Awards

Derdack, provider of enterprise notification software and mobile messaging platforms today announced it had won a major industry award at the 7th Global Messaging Awards, for message master® Enterprise Alert. The award recognised the innovative use of mobile messaging at Derdack’s customer HIS-IZZ Hospitals, and is the third such award given to Derdack’s enterprise notification software in the last four months.

Derdack partners with Inovativ and announces first customer implementation

Derdack today announced that it had signed a partner agreement with Inovativ, the Dutch Microsoft System Center specialist. The relationship has already proved successful with the first customer implementation completed at INHolland University of Applied Sciences where message master® Enterprise Alert has been deployed to increase availability of critical IT services such as email, and reduce the risk of business interruption.

Robert Beudeker, System Administrator, INHolland University of Applied Sciences explained why it was a straightforward decision to select message master® Enterprise Alert, “Derdack’s enterprise notification software met all of our requirements. European Southern Observatory selects message master® Enterprise Alert

Derdack today announced that the European Southern Observatory (ESO), the world’s most productive astronomical observatory, has selected message master® Enterprise Alert to increase availability for critical IT services. The installation in Santiago, Chile will add automated, mobile notification capabilities to existing network monitoring functionality provided by WhatsUp.

Andrew Wright, Network Specialist, ESO said, “We knew that message master® Enterprise Alert was already successfully integrated with WhatsUp at our headquarters near Munich, Germany. The latest version of Derdack’s software has powerful features for notification automation, in particular two-way closed loop notifications, the ability to automatically escalate alerts, assignment of ownership of alerts, and failover capabilities. It was a straightforward decision to roll out the software to our Chile operation.”
